I passed some of my audible books over to my apple watch series 3 and enjoyed listening to them from there, via my airpods.
Launch itunes, and select the audiobooks tab on the upper left corner of your screen. Once you download the audible app, you can listen on any apple device including the ipad pro, the apple watch hermès and the macbook air.
