Regarding your description about team status, teams will automatically set the status in some cases like when you’re in a call. All they need is a mobile device and teams. On desktop and web, this will happen when you lock your computer or when it enters idle or sleep mode.
Simply log in with your teams credentials, keep the screen on, and make sure the app is in the foreground at all times.
