Be worth running a test with that. I'm not sure how close the shieldtv is to android on phones or tablets. Plex media server not working after windows 10 updates plex media server worked under windows 7 and continued to work after the upgrade to windows 10.
But on on chrome on my phone i went to app.plex.tv/desktop and hit add to home screen in the settings while on the site.
I activated the plex app and copied my movies to the folder. This works in most cases, where the issue is originated due to a system corruption. The problem is that i can’t seem to get the web interface to come up on my windows 8.1 64bit computer web browser… i’m not getting any errors or anything, it just goes to a bing search page. Works rather better than a web browser i've found.
